This Privacy Policy explains how Buttermilk Games ("we", "us", "our")
handles information in connection with the mobile game Allergic Panda
(the "App", package com.allergicpanda.game). We built Allergic Panda as a gentle,
family-friendly game and we take the privacy of our players — especially children — seriously.
1. Information collected
a) Information we collect directly
None that identifies you personally. Allergic Panda has no login, no registration, and no in-app chat. Your game progress (levels, stars, unlocked scarves) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
b) Information collected automatically by our advertising partner
The App uses the Google AdMob advertising SDK. To serve ads and measure their performance, AdMob may automatically collect and process:
- Device or other identifiers — including the device advertising ID and similar identifiers.
- App activity / app interactions — limited usage signals used for showing ads and for frequency capping (e.g. how often an ad has been shown).
- App information & performance — crash logs and diagnostics that help keep the App stable.
- Approximate (coarse) location — derived from the network/IP, where enabled, used to serve relevant ads.
This data is collected and used by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive your advertising ID or location from Google in identifiable form.
2. How information is used
- To display advertising that keeps the App free.
- To diagnose crashes and improve the stability and performance of the App.
- To prevent fraud and abuse of the advertising system.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use data to build advertising profiles of children, and ads shown to children are limited to content appropriate for them.
3. Children's privacy
Allergic Panda is directed to children and designed to be appropriate for all ages. We comply with the Google Play Families policies, the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rules on children where applicable.
- Advertising is configured with Google AdMob's child-directed treatment (TFCD) and "treat as under the age of consent" (TFUA) settings, so personalized (interest-based) ads and remarketing are disabled for these users.
- Only ad providers certified under Google's Families Self-Certified Ads SDK program are used.
- We do not knowingly collect personal contact information from children, and we never ask children for names, emails, photos, or precise location.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us (below) and we will delete it promptly.
4. Sharing of information
The limited technical data described above is shared with Google (AdMob) acting as our advertising and diagnostics provider, and may be shared with its ad-serving partners solely to deliver and measure ads. We do not otherwise share information with third parties, except where required by law.
5. Data retention & security
Local game progress remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Data handled by Google AdMob is retained and secured according to Google's policies. All data transmitted by the advertising SDK is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
6. Your choices
- Reset or limit your advertising ID: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID.
- Remove local data: clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
- Request deletion: email us at the address below and we will delete any data we can associate with you or your child.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date on this page.
